Menta is developing an eight-story, mixed-use building on Patriotismo, a main avenue in the south of Mexico City. Responding to the harsh conditions of the area (large amounts of noise and pollution; merely functional buildings in the surroundings; weakened neighborhood quality), we decided to generate a project that pursued some values that we consider essential: to allow silence to exist; to integrate rich public areas that effectively create opportunities for individual and collective activities; and to create an organic, warm building that enriches the landscape.
